Lectors proclaim the Sacred Scripture at Mass on Sundays and feast days. With the help of a guidebook, they prepare the reading in advance, thinking about its meaning and practicing its presentation. They are scheduled according to the Mass that they prefer to attend, reading once every three or four weeks. Training is provided for all new lectors.
Parishioners who are above the age of 14 are welcome to become a lector.
