Each year, hundreds of infants in St. Joseph County receive layettes, bundles of baby clothes and supplies, from the Christ Child Society. Each baby receives a hand made item. CCS is in need of infant sweaters and hats and preemie hats and blankets (18”x20”). Any color or pattern is welcome. If you love creating with yarn, consider making an item or two for babies in need of warm clothing. Also needed are hats and gloves to go with the new coats each older child receives (toddler through adult sizes) – hand made or purchased.
Bring them to the Christ Child Society Clothing Center located in Town and Country Shopping Center (drive around to the rear) on any Tuesday or Wednesday morning through December, 8:00 am to noon. Or call 574-288-6028 to arrange a pick up.
