Children’s Catechesis

Catechesis/Sacramental Prep will begin in late September and go through May.

Holy Cross offers the following:

• Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (Level I for ages 3-6)
• Traditional Catechesis (Textbook Method for children not preparing for a sacrament)
• First Reconciliation/First Communion Preparation (for Baptized children ages 7 and up)
• Confirmation Preparation (for children ages 13 and up who are baptized and have made their First Reconciliation and First Communion)
• Order of Christian Initiation for Adults Adapted for Children (Sacramental Preparation for children over the age of 7 who have not been baptized or who have been baptized in another religious denomination).

Weekly Catechesis Schedule:

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (ages 3-6) – Tuesdays from 3:30PM to 4:30PM

All other Catechesis Classes – Tuesdays from 5:30PM to 6:30PM
