Welcome to Holy Cross Parish Catechesis! We are grateful to have your child(ren) with us as we grow in faith together, encounter Jesus the Good Shepherd, and prepare your child(ren) for the graces of the sacraments!
¡Bienvenidos a la catequesis de la parroquia Holy Cross! ¡Estamos agradecidos de tener a su hijo/a con nosotros mientras crecemos juntos en la fe, encontramos a Jesús, el Buen Pastor, y preparamos a su hijo/a para las gracias de los sacramentos!
Holy Cross offers the following:
- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (Level I for ages 3-6)
- Traditional Catechesis (for children who are not preparing for a sacrament)
- First Reconciliation/First Communion Preparation (for baptized children in 2nd grade and above)
- Confirmation Preparation (for children in 7th Grade and above who are baptized and have made their First Reconciliation and First Communion)
- Order of Christian Initiation for Adults Adapted for Children (Sacramental Preparation for children over the age of 7 who have not been baptized or who have been baptized in another religious denomination).

2025-26 Catechesis – Registration now open!
Traditional Catechesis/Sacramental Prep/OCIC classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Parish Center (920 Wilber Street). Classes will begin in late September and go through early May.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level I will be held on Mondays from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Students at Holy Cross School will be walked over at 3 p.m. from the school building to the Parish Center for class, with a brief snack/play time before class.)
