Altar Servers play an essential role in the liturgy by assisting the priests before, during, and after Mass. Typically, Altar Servers help during Sunday Mass, but occasionally they will also take part in school Masses, funerals, and weddings. Being an Altar Server is a wonderful way to participate in the liturgy, helping to make everything run smoothly.
To be an Altar Server, you need to have completed the 4th grade. Altar Servers usually help about every 4 to 6 weeks.
